If I need to convert a half bath to full, do I need a permit from town. If yes, will the town give me an estimate of how much property tax increase that will be.

Yes you need a permit, they will most likely not give you an estimate.

If you are using existing space in the house and not doing any expansion ex. taking away a closet for the bathroom just do it and forget the permit.

Who does this work? Plumber or someone else. I need a break a wall and closet. Also need to install shower
