Are there any bars on the island, Nassau in particular, that have trivia nights. Not those hand held games like at Wild Wings, but trivia were you bring your team and an MC reads questions. We used to do this on a weekly basis when I was away at school and it seemed like every bar had this one night a week. Since coming back home, I haven't been able to find anything.
Dave & Busters has trivia...not with an emcee but you sit in front of a big screen and it shows you 5 questions and the more you get right the more tickets you win. It's not essentially "hand-held" although probably isn't exactly what you are looking for either. I can't recall any bars that have this...sorry. Hope you find it!
There's this place on Higbie Lane in West Islip right before the railroad tracks by the fire department HQ/main station, it's a bar and restaurant in one. For the life of me I can't remember the name though.
They have trivia on Wednesday nights.
