You guys didn't hear Ratner (of Barclays Center fame) is going to be playing a big part in the Coliseum future as well?

It won't host major sporting events, but it will still be around to host other things. How much renovation goes into it remains to be told. But he's a "stakeholder" so he has incentive to do *something*.

Yeah, he has the "incentive" to make sure it doesn't compete with Barclay's! Classic LI leadership. Bring in a wolf to help the chickens.

I'm surprised Trump hasn't announced he wants to buy it and rename it the Trump Colisuem. Not to hijack this thread, but whatever happened to his Trump on the Ocean project that was supposed to take over the old Boardwalk restaurant at Jones Beach?

Article today indicates that Adam Haber is taking it in some direction too. And he made a quote similar to yours. Except he used an ex-wife analogy.
