Get on the train...you can stop at just about any station on teh LIRR and find a slew of bars at any of them. Now if you want nicer trendier places...go to Babylon or Rockville Center.

I'll let those that frequent those places answer your question but I would say, just from casual observations on the train, that Thursdays are certainly not as busy as Fridays...and the summer months are usually pretty crowded.

Thursdays are ok a lot of places have ladies nights on Thursdays, but I would say that Fridays and Saturdays are a lot busier, especially in the summertime.

And yes, I would also recommend Babylon and Rockville Centre.

Nautical Mile Freeport. Most places packed on Thursdays during summer season(May-Sept). Not too far from Freeport Station.

One place that I know that's packed on Thursday is Nutty Irishman in Bay Shore. But you have to keep an eye on the train schedule, heading west late at nite gets tricky.

I agree with those that say Freeport (spring is here!), Babylon. They got something for everyone honestly. And good food.

Now you might be thinking of staying in the immediate towns next to seaford --

dont go to massapequa (i know its the closest option). all bars are full of older scumbags or 21-30 year old kids still living like they are in highschool. Avoid Johnny Mcgoreys and Woodys at all costs if u MUST go to massapequa (park)

Wantagh has the best options all near the trainstation... still crowded on thursdays. Mulcaheys?
