No. They have their ghetto within RVC. RVC is dealing with it. RVC is okay anyway. Nobody hates RVC because of it.

The yuppies paying redic rents to The Avalon don't have a problem moving right next door to the housing authority. Is this drug dealing gang more successful than it was 2 years ago or is that 1 article what your basing your rant on? Just got back from Press 195 and the atmosphere in the street and restaurants was almost summer like. You would never know about the evils that lurk just a stones throw away.
Don't the RVC police have better people to arrest?
Village police in places like RVC and GC have very little to do - read the crime blotter in the weekly news. Getting babies out of locked cars, responding to funny noises coming from the dishwasher, etc etc - all in a day's work for the village P.D. They basically operate as a private security force....nice perk although becoming extremely pricey. My guess is the Old Mill Apartments falls outside the "village" jurisdiction - or anything that goes on there is "too big" for the village PD and they turn it over to the NCPD.
