Read what was going on. Kay told OP to not be nosey. So OP questioned WHY someone preaching not to be nosey would be interested in what's going on in a place they no longer live in? OP was just trying to make a point. I think there is a valid point in that statement directed towards someone preaching to someone else to mind their business. Otherwise, OP would not have said that to Kay.
