Has anyone had any experience with the Avalon Court in Melville? I'm looking for a short term rental (6 months) and we are considering renting there. I know it's not cheap....I just want clean and safe!

Thanks

We moved from the DC area and then lived at the Avalon for about 6 months while we house hunted. It was expensive, but we loved the apartment.

We stored our excess furniture in the oversized one car garage.

It was very safe and clean. Also, the school buses stop right at the complex.

Did you live in the North section, where the sales office is? I like that section better, but I'm not seeing any availability there. The one apt they showed us was not updated and I can live with that...I just need clean and no bugs! It's only for 6 months and we can deal with the high rent...going to TX where I can rent a 4br house for half the price

I know several people who rented while in between moves-I would do it myself if the need ever came up.
