If you need to describe an individual that commited a crime then any and all information should be used and provided.

I'm fairly certain you're being sarcastic, it's just that certain things tend to be very annoying in this overly PC society we've evolved into.

Sorry, but you all must be mistaken. Crimes like this are imaginary. In fact the 2nd Circus our of good old NYC specifically stated "We don't arm people in case of imaginary conflict."

Besides, your stuck with 7 rounds to protect yourself. Not very much when you consider police reacting to a situation with a vest and forewarning take 8 rounds on average.

Game Stop in Lake Grove was robbed at gunpoint around 12:30 this afternoon. I was going to head there after Trader Joe's, but had a headache and went home. If not for the headache, I would have been there when this happened. Little freaked out.

So funny, but so true. I find Newsday is spending more time announcing new stores than covering the hard stories, like crime.

When I read the articles today, it's a sad reminder of the pulitzer-winning newspaper of my youth. So many hard-hitting journalistic series, investigations, and yes, even the bad news. The writing was better, the journalism was better... the island was a better place for it.

I think the news on this island of ours is often so negative (hey, just like many of the postings on this forum), Newsday feels suppressing much of the news is a way to cheer everyone up Afterall, just look at the local economy.
