Hicksville LIRR morning Parking (safe, garage, station) - Long Island - New York (NY) - City-Data Forum

Hi, can someone please tell me what is the latest time in the morning at which one can be assured of parking at one of the lots at the Hicksville LIRR station ?(I know there are no guarantees but I just need to get an idea). My intended time to park at the station is 8:00 AM, is too late to find a spot at that time? I'm aware that I'll need a town sticker. Thanks!

Did the the search & saw the map. The map applies to 7:00 Am which is early for me & the other posts are for mid-day parking. The only thing I could gather from one poster is that parking at Hicksville LIRR station would be difficult after 7:45 Am. Is that about right?

After 8am the only place you might be able to get a spot is over by E Marie St and E Nicholai st. That's where I found parking when I parked at Hicksville. After 8:10-8:15 you might be out of luck and have to park on the street somewhere close by or at the mall.

I used to take the 7:57am out of Hicksville and a few parking spots were still available on Level L2 in the garage at 7:45am. But I haven't commuted out of Hicksville for several months now and have noticed the LIRR being more crowded. To be safe I would get there by 7:30 am the first week of your commute and then adjust your schedule accordingly to the parking situation.
