How to find the name of the owner of a property (Jay: house, shopper)

Hello does anyone know how I could find out the name of a property owner? I tried looking this up via nassaucountyny.gov but that information is not listed.

Knock on the door and ask

Stalk their house and look at their mail after the mailman leaves

Ask one of their neighbors

If you have access to Cole's directory, you can get the name.

Go to the library. Jaysus. They have one. I know, hard to believe it's an actual book.

Sometimes I try whitepages.com, enter address and names come up. Good luck.

There's also websites you can pay a one time fee for that info. I think intelius is one

That's not just for Realtors and not all Realtors have access to it.
Ask your local library if they have access.

If not, ask a friendly Realtor who does

LOL Actually it's several books and each County has a different set.

Possibly the OP's library has a subscription to the online information which is more current, since the books are published only quarterly.
