East Northport is a possibility. We live the third avenue areas etc. Not too thrilled about anything along Pulaski.

In two hours you went from $3500-4000 up to $5400. How do you expect people to take you seriously?

No one does.

I love how we've started the whole search process over because he's rented first. It's like the whole year's inquiries have been erased.

High school mentality.

I'm saying that we are open to mid range taxes if 3k isn't doable in the places we are asking for. So we are curious where 5k taxes can take us. No problem with that.

Taxes go up every year. So what is $5000 now.....won't be by the time you are ready to buy.

Just a research on my own I've looked at Selden. Keeping the taxes low are most important to us. We don't need a huge home.

Places that we don't care for are: Brentwood, Gordon Heights, Middle Island and Commack/Smithtown (tax wise).
Based on this, it sure seems like you only very recently discovered (like last week) that taxes are a "thing" that must be accounted for in a big way when buying on Long Island. Did you not read the dozens of posts that included this very fact every time you tried to figure out a budget?

I have a disability where I cannot retain every single amount of information 100 percent, regardless if people constantly write it. I have to research and learns things on my own. That should answer your comments fairly well.
