I received a parking ticket from the Town of Islip Public Safety Dept. on Tuesday 2/19/19, for parking in a Town of Islip residential lot located on the South side of the tracks at the Ronkonkoma railroad station. There are no signs posted indicating that the south side parking lots are restricted to Town of Islip residents only. In fact, the official LIRR map of the Ronkonkoma station indicates that the parking lots on the North side of the tracks are free for Town of Brookhaven residents, while the parking lots on the South side of the tracks are labelled as being free for all Suffolk County residents. Am I missing something here or is the Town of Islip trying to scam me out of $75 with this bogus paarking ticket?
