Has any one have experience with indoor Antenna. I have extra TV, but I want to buy another cable box when I don't really use it, but I want to have access to basic local TV...channel 2-13
We have Cablevision and do not have boxes on two of our TVs and just have them connected to coax. We get 2-13 plus 21 and a couple other channels. They're not on normal channels but further up. Good enough.
I'll have to ask my parents, when I was at their house recently they had just gotten an antenna that is in their attic, and I was amazed how clear the NYC stations were coming in. As clear as cable.
This is what I was posting to this am but it was deleted.
Im gonna give it a try on the spare bedroom tv.

Sounds crazy, works great. Try it. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE GROUND PORT

Yeah... You're going to need to cite some reputable sources for that to get people like me to try it.
Just sayin'.
