My friend is in TOB, and was told she needs 20' from the fence and 10' from the house to accommodate an IGP for a house she's looking to buy. The real estate agent told her to apply for a variance since the property doesn't allow for it. Further, said agent said that if the town rejects it, she can get a state variance. Is this true? I don't have a pool so idk what TOB is like re
