North Bellmore (Merrick, Melville, North Merrick: house, neighborhood, school district)

Good morning,

Need some help. I recently attended an Open House for a home located in N. Bellmore on Columbus Avenue (Old Britton) which is located North of the Southern State. Is this location really N. Bellmore? If yes how is the neighborhood?

I live in Brooklyn, but work in Melville- I am not that familiar with Bellmore ( just what co workers have advised).

Yes, that is North Bellmore. You would be part of the North Bellmore/North Merrick school district and be zoned for Mepham.

Columbus Avenue can be a bit busy, as people use it as a cut-through between Newbridge Road and Bellmore Road, but it's not that bad.
