Hi Everyone,

Here is a map of the best Christmas light displays on Long Island. Almost 600 houses. I have searched hundreds of websites and compiled the list into this map. Please share and let me know if there is a great house and I will add it to the map. Also, let me know if there is no lights at a certain house and I will delete that location. They may have moved. We don't want disappointed kids. No ads on the page. Pay it Forward.

Lackluster displays in Bellmore & Wantagh this year, I know, Yuppies don't celebrate Christmas.
Best ones I've seen have been in North Massapequa, Carle Place, and Westbury.
But it is far from scientific of course.

Hmm, seems like Commack and North Massapequa have the highest concentration of these displays

West Bay Shore and the Brightwaters area by the lakes (just north of the Concourse and Montauk Highway) can be nice depending on the year. The actual amount of lights is hit or miss sometimes (again, depending on year) and it is not a good area for large ostentatious displays.

Sometimes it is as simple as a house with candles in the window, a nice wreath on the door and the home backlit with a big spotlight on the front lawn.

North shore sucks. I live in East Hills and notice only myself and few scattered neighbors putting up lights.

The ones you see as you drive by on the bus?

How is your display this year John?

I agree with Dumbo, North Shore SUCKS!. Very scattered!. Other than myself on the block just one more house, otherwise NOT even a wreath.
