My 87 year old mom has recently come to live with me because she can no longer care for herself and live on her own. She is qualified for a MLTC plan through Medicaid and we need to choose one asap but this is all new to us. She needs an aide for daily activities--dressing, meals, bathing, toileting, etc.

Can anyone recommend agencies with good services/aides or suggest ones to steer clear of? The options are: Aetna Better Health, Agewell, Centerlight Healthcare Select MLTC, Extended MLTC, Fidelis Care at Home, GuildNet, HomeFirst a product of Elderplan, Integra, NorthShore-LIJ Health Plan, RiverSpring at Home, VNSY Choice MLTC, WellCare Advocate, Buldnet Gold, VNSNY Choice Total and Centerlight Healthcare PACE.

Any recommendations or advice is appreciated!
