Yes. I had it twice this season (October and January). And that's with getting a flu shot.

Stomach flu (norovirus) going around. Our almost 2 year old grandson gave it to every family member who came into contact with him. Only person to not catch it was his newborn brother. Oh, that was awful with 4 adults in the home and only one toilet!

A month later he passed around his cold, but not the flu because it is only sneezing and congestion without the fever, aches, and chills of the flu.

I'd take the flu over norovirus any day. At least you know somewhat know you're coming down with the flu... but norovius, BAM! Ever since getting it out of nowhere three years ago (I didn't know anyone who had it), I now have an irrational fear of getting hit with norovirus while in the city. Could you imagine trying to get home?
