A friend needs recommendations for autobody work in the Port Jeff, Stony Brook or Selden and surroundings, is paying out of pocket and the insurance is not involved.
The work is not extensive, mostly cosmetic with little dents on the door.

Is Macco good option?
Thank you!
Might be out of your area a little but Schubert's in Smithtown is fantastic.
Avoid relations auto body in bohemia. The slicko that owns it did horrible work on my vehicle. You could clearly tell the body panel had work done on it. So can others when i went to sell the car. The paint also didn't match seemlessly from one panel to the next. When I went to the back to see what clowns he had working in the shop I seen several kids working on the cars. They couldn't have been more than 17 years old. He never wanted to own up to the poor work or fix it like a reputable business person.
I doubt Macco will do good work.
Schubert I heard is decent but probably going to be priced on high end.
