Has anyone seen clowns in Franklin Square and Garden City. I have heard of a first hand account of someone seeing a clown with red balloons walking around in the early evening. I saw the actual photograph. This person became very scared.

I guess one doesn't expect to see a clown walking around town. And, there are all the supernatural clown stories and legends around the country.

I heard (seriously) that McDonalds is limiting Ronald McDonalds appearances due to clown fear hysteria.

Come on now, I live in Franklin Square and our clowns wouldn't look like that. They would be wearing a wife beater T shirt and holding a cannoli not a balloon!

Seriously? Are there that many adults around who can't tell fact from fiction? The problem is these people aren't ashamed to admit they can't. We are raising new generations of idiots.

It is not about Fact v. fiction these days. It is more about unpredictability of the person inside the costume. Additionally, The media has fed these idiots and now we are forced to view them differently than we used to. Unless you had a fear of clowns years ago, the clown would have brought a smile to ones' face not fear.
