Legal Issue? (Nassau: assessment, land, property)

A few years back we contacted AN EXPEDITOR to help us report to the Town, some changes we made to our home.
Just checked the new assessment and none of the changes have been posted.
In other words, our property have not been updated.
Any suggestions? Anybody else feels like me: a victim ?

Did your expeditor every provide proof that they did their job? Did you allow this to go unchecked for several years?

Did you just check online or did you go to your Town and looked at the records?

Most listings have inaccuracies. I wouldn't know where to begin to have it corrected since they don't take responsibility for the accuracy in the first place.
