My first house in Nassau had a detached garage in the rear of the lot. I loved the privacy to wash my car or work on it behind a fence.

Now I have a 2 car attached in front of the house in Suffolk that I love. No more privacy but literally if the weather is bad my 2 year old stays out of the elements. And never have to warm up the car (always warmer inside the garage). I couldn't live without a functional garage.
