Where to see the moon rise in Nassau? (houses, yard)

Did anyone get to see it? All I saw was a big yellow moon setting behind the houses across the road from me, and by 6:50 the sky was too bright and the moon was too far down for me to see anything that looked special.

Between the moon and the reflection off of the snow it was like daylight in my yard last night.
