The thing about this incident is that we don't even know the name of the guy the cops killed..
This is because there are many unsolved MURDERS in Merrick
Of course the real estate agent will never tell you these dark secrets of Merrick, the police fudge the crime stats but make no mistake it will be Freeport soon with the only nice areas being south of Merrick road.... And even then you risk your kids becoming drug addicts with all the drug houses around.
I hear the cops turn a blind eye to these drug houses, just the other day 2 Nassau cops were arrested for being in a major drug ring. For all we know it's all connected
Merrick community does its part to help solve year-old unsolved murder | Verizon FiOS1 News - Long Island
The Merrick community is working to help Nassau County police solve a year-old murder that claimed the life of 48-year-old Suzanne Goldfarb.
On the night of her death in 2015, Nassau County police said Goldfarb declined a dinner invitation with her parents. The following night, her father became concerned and went to her house and discovered her body inside of a cottage behind her home on Smith Street in Merrick.
Police say that an autopsy revealed that she died of asphyxiation.
More than a year later, and there still have been no arrests made in this case so Smith and several others are putting flyers around town in hopes that someone will come forward with new information that may help find Goldfarb’s killer.
Goldfarb’s best friend, Donna Smith, believes her killer is among her community in Merrick.
