You are supposed to name things after people who are revered not sacks of poo Suffolk county politicians.
Someone name a quality that guy has to justify naming a stadium after him. A sewage plant maybe as that's what the long island political machine is, a big sewer.

Hey, this is Long Island and this is how things run on Long Island. Naming a stadium after one of our infamous politicians is the least of the worries a homeowner on LI should have. Funny thing and I think some of the replies OP got on this thread hint at this, I don't believe there's one contemporary politician you could point to, worthy of having his or her name immortalized on taxpayer-funded project names.
