How do I file an Anonymous Compliant with TOH Buildings Dept?
I have a neighbor that is running a business out of his home. I have no issue with that. What does bother me and others is that he parks a rather large Commercial Truck in the driveway, his workers park on the street taking up most of the available parking, it is a very small block, they play the car radio very very loud in the morning and they make alot of noise at all hours of the day and night.
Also, there is a pile of garbage, all of which are from the business, on the side of the house only about 25 feet from the sidewalk so it is very viable from the street.
Like I said, no issue with him earning a living, but he MUST be considerate to those around the area.
There is no such thing as an anonymous complaint. The town will want to know who you are or will not take it seriously. However, if they escalate it to a violation, they will never say who complained. The "complainant" will be the town code gestapo, not a neighbor or any individual.
Speak nicely to the owner. Despite the negativity on here, if his business matters to him, he should try to keep peace with the neighbors, exactly to avoid this situation. Explain it nicely and let him know his new crew are annoying the neighbors and people are ready to complain to the town. I bet he tries to improve it. If not, complain away, he'll be out of business soon enough anyway.

No not new to the block. He recently hired a new crop of workers. and this new group is very loud, sloppy and inconsiderate.
Your best bet is to tell him to his face that he must take action or you will continue to call the town. These kind of neighbors think they own the place but, when confronted they may act differently.
I agree with telling your neighbor straight up. People will tend to respect you and change their habits if you confront them in a friendly way. Start with that route and if nothing changes then inform the town. If he give you crap about ratting him out, let him know that you politely asked him to be a considerate neighbor but since he didn't follow through, he left you with no other option.
