So what is the bet that in 2 years Clavin challenges Laura Curran for county exec, and Kate Murray runs to reclaim her old job as ToH supervisor?

You may very well be right about Clavin challenging Curran. I can't even entertain the thought of Kate Murray back in the saddle at TOH. It makes my stomach turn.

Local elections are probably more important than the national elections but voter turnout is anemic. If you don't think the things that go on in TOH are a problem you are mistaken. Voters just elected the same party that gave promotions to all their cronies and created new positions to protect the party. I'm surprised that after all that occurred with Cairo and parks department that voted would actually put this party back in office. They run the town like a family business and good old Kate Murray is back in office, will they put Santino back in office again.

Good luck on getting any ethics reform.

Pete King will co-chair the transition team.
Clavin says that Baldwin redevelopment will be a top priority during his admin. Who lives in Baldwin? Current county exec Laura Curran. Interesting if Clavin can pull that off and take credit for it in Laura C's backyard.

Waste of time and money.
Baldwin will always be Baldwin.
It will always be a dead average burb with or without a fancy 1/4 mile stretch of vacant stores. Because that's just how it is.

In Kate's new(old) position, there is no reason for her to send out glossy color mailers with her face plastered all over them right?

Baldwin was awarded a $10 million grant to revitalize from the state. We now will have Don Clavins face mailed to us nonstop.
