3.5 months no school can I get my $2500 back please?

...yeah, I already know the answer.

Also, if mortgages are able to be suspended for 90 days who pays the county tax?
Suffolk & Nassau just suck it up for three months?

What about property tax suspension for those who no longer have a mortgage?
In his presentation today Gov Cuomo signaled that NYS would adjust its transfer payments to subsidiary governments based on its own ability to generate tax revenue. Your school system and
Local government will either have to raise taxes or cut expenses. Since you a voter it's your choice.

Great... they couldn't afford this on their 174,000 salaries? SO, if they can use this slush fund instead of their income, I'd say it is an effective increase.
They already porked out on congressional incidental funding in the recent omnibus budget, as well.

And thank goodness they added even more millions in funding to the kennedy center for the performing arts, PBS and 350M for refugee and emigration assistance to this bill. I'm sure we'll find out what other goodies are in the 100s of pages. What a time for Nancy and co to hold the country hostage for nonsense.

I'm no fan of Congress and their usual sub 10% approval ratings, as any regular here knows. The fact is the poster quoted the exact FB spam piece as "news." It's not. In fact, Congress appropriating themselves such a small amount is actually the bigger news. Surprised they didn't all get new swimming pools, but they probably did in 08-09 and don't need them now. Office/campaign slush is enough. Meanwhile, 12 days later, still no bill until the wee hours with all kinds of pork. Exactly as I posted 11 days ago.
