Are there any concerns about going to the store in person?
I was concerned but went anyway wearing gloves and carrying sanitizing cloths. Some people had gloves and masks but not everyone did. People respected distance and the cashier line had black marks where you were suposed to wait behind so basically the person in front of you would be finished packing and you were just able to load stuff on the conveyer belt. So it takes longer plus the whole thing with reusable bags that nobody wants to reuse because of possible contamination. The person in front of me had their own plastc bags they brought from their personal home collection which they used to pack while the cashier just stands there watching because I guess she didnt want to touch the customers bags. The couple meanwhile was trying to figure which of the bags they brought will fit the stuff they were packing. Cashiers were all dressed like surgeons. So now you are packing up and the conveyer belt is empty because the person behind you has to wait behind the 6 foot mark until you are leaving. Add to that the fact that shelves were still empty of water, eggs, toilet paper etc. and sale signs arent up or being honored plus the risk of picking up the virus ----I think its way easier and safer to order from home though it was nice to actually get out and see other people. Loaded the car and wiped the gloves with clorax cloths then took off the gloves and wow. Still need TP and a bunch of other things the store didnt have or did have but the prices were crazy high. This was Stop and shop incase anyone is wondering.

Yes, for me as I fall into the high risk category. Littlest OBH's bf works in a large chain supermarket. 2 of his coworkers had tested positive as of Monday.
hmmm, I haven't been able to get a shipt delivery in over 2 weeks and I was a regular customer before the virus hit. Nothing with Instacart either.
