Taking issue is one thing - that's long been a part of normal life. Lashing out at an inanimate statue or memorial is a growing trend.

Kind of surprising nobody complained much about Gandhi's statue in DC being vandalized (actually, not too surprising, who wants to answer the charge, "Why are you defending a statue of a racist?".) Apparently Gandhi said some unkind words about blacks. Cancel.

US Grant's statues/memorial destruction/vandalism might surprise some - what with his leading the Union army to victory in the war to end slavery and all. The woke mob knows he owned a slave before the war. Perhaps they'll be a woke book burning since he was also an author.

Will the Roosevelt statue in Oyster Bay be next?

Problem with catering to the hysterical left is the more you give the more they'll take.

There is a protest Thursday in Mineola on Franklin Ave. There is statue of TR there. Let's see if the mob damages it.

Street names, bridges, highways then after all that it will be people have to change their own names. This is getting ridiculous.

We have a HS here, named after Caeser Rodney and the students are protesting that it should be changed to Harriet Tubman HS. He cast the decisive Delaware vote for independence and was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Just wondering how long Mt. Rushmore will be able to stand.

That'll be interesting. You can't just put a rope around it and pull it down

Just Democrats doing what Democrats do best. Destroy things. Statues. Family life. Middle class. Small business. Towns. Cities. States. Country.
