Hello, all. Me and my family are looking to purchase a house in Nassau county. I am a second generation American. My parents are from India. We are well aware of the heavy Indian population in towns such as Hicksville, East meadow and New Hyde park. There’s a nice house in East meadow we are looking at. I also see great homes in Massapequa and some other towns. Would that be a wise move or should we stick to the first 3 towns mentioned ? There’s 4 of us. There will be absolutely no renting out. I work in construction. My brother is an analyst for American Express. My mother works in Franklin hospital and for a major airline at JFK. My father is a retired yellow cab medallion owner. Thanks for your input. Any advice is appreciated.

As an Irish catholic, I'll be straight up and say you may run into some subtle racism in places like Massaqequa along the South shore. I happen to love East Meadow. I'd go with that. I have a close 2nd gen Indian friend who grew up in Roslyn but that's mucho $$$.
Thanks for the advice, Queensguy72. We definitely like the house in East meadow. If all goes well, maybe 5 years down the line we’ll be in Roslyn or somewhere similar. Again thanks for your input.
