Save the local business from our local government. The Town of Oyster Bay is trying to takeover Peninsula Golf Course by eminent domain. Please see the attached link and show your support for our local business by signing the petition.

Many golfers including myself who frequently golf at Peninsula do not live in the Town of Oyster Bay and we will be priced out of utilizing the course.

If anyone knows any more information that is provided in the attached links please post it.

Thanks.......

I love this golf course. I would hate to see it get taken down and turned into apartments or cookie cutter homes.

^ Agreed. They will build every last inch of this island if allowed.

What is their reason for eminent domain anyways? I don’t see the reason.

Actually, it was to prevent the private owner from selling it to developers for housing.

That’s BS the town can prevent it by just not allowing it to be rezoned. They went there dirty hands on this property so they can have some of there people run concessions etc.
