And No those people in rags collecting bottles in 20 degrees with a shopping cart are not retired millionaires doing it for fun. Get real.

"Researchers found that 23% of Asian New Yorkers lived in poverty in 2020, comparable to the rate of poverty experienced by Black and Latinx New Yorkers, and higher than the citywide average of 16% of all New Yorkers."
“Usually, many people think Asians are better off economically than Blacks and Latinos, but our data show, no, that's not true,” Gao said. “So that's something that needs to be known and to be really digested and understood a bit.”
The poverty rate of Asian New Yorkers who were 65 or older in 2020 was 28% compared to 23% for seniors citywide. Researchers also found that the poverty rate among Asian New Yorkers with a high school degree or less in 2020 was 33% compared to 27% of all New Yorkers.

Hispanic, Black and Asian; respectively 24, 21 and 20. But with the super inflated unemployment during Covid, its hard to tell how accurate the numbers are. As is the numbers you posted. If Asians are not living paycheck to paycheck, they run up the unemployment rate and appear to be in poverty while completely healthy financially.

Just think back to 80's and 90's when mortgages were only 15 yrs. Even if it was 2000's. Most Asian have paid off houses. Also, when looking at homeownership by race and Asians exceed Whites yet we make up 50% less of total white population. Now think about total population of Asians vs the percentage of homeownership and get a better idea of true financial health.

You are really reallly reaching here lol

Up 15 % over the last decade can’t blame Covid for that.

Get out of your echo chamber for a minute and acknowledge that the entire Asian population is not as wildly successful as you claim. There are 2 sides to every coin and failure and poverty in every population and ethnic group

Yes 15% or 252k to 290k in 10 years but then look at the total population growth of Asians and you see the 15% is misleading considering Asian population grew by 34% from 2010 to 2020, or meaningfully; the rate actually decreased - thanks for making my point for me. Percentages in isolation mean absolutely nothing tho.

One hundred percent agree they are not wildly successful. Never claimed that, just saying don't judge them by their clothes or cars, cause hidden wealth is real.

I test drove both 2023 models extensively. Although more $$ it wasn’t even a close decision the rx350 blows the highlander away. The ride quality and sound deadening are just so much better in the rx and the interior is just flat out better. What can I say I like soft seats a comfortable ride and minimal road noise! Moot point I bought a tesla so I don’t have to hear any engine noise.

Wow you certainly win the award for someone who will stretch and manipulate stats to fit your narrative LOL! Are you going to tell me next the sky isn't blue because by your perception its red?

Again im sure it has a better suspension, more sound deadening etc. but still at its heart: The drivetrain, transmission and chassis are exactly the same. Still a Toyota. Yep with Tesla you just have to deal with wind noise lol

Almost the same power train the Lexus has more power. Not much wind noise in 23, Tesla added acoustic glass to all windows huge difference over my friends 21. I took it on a 2800 mile rd trip last week and at 75mph on 95 it was the whitest car I’ve ever been in.

I also have a 23. Yeah it has the double pained acoustic glass etc. But I still hear some wind noise regardless.

Dude, it is simple math or how everyone else analyzes data. Total Asian population outgrew growth of poverty for the same cohort and time period = decline in total poverty for the ethnicity. No manipulation, and the numbers almost align with 20% of Asians in poverty for NYC in 2023 I cited earlier.

2020 - 1525851/290000=19%
2010 - 1125000/252000=22.4%
2010* - 1025000/252000=24.5%

Just to be accurate and transparent, 500k gain is almost 49% more not the 34% or 37% depending on source, so they must have used the combined Asian number which is 100k more...

Toyota partnered with BMW for the Toyota Supra. So they fixed all the flaws to make sure the product reflected it commitment to reliability. This is why the B58TU and the B46TU motors are near bulletproof and super reliable - every BMW 4 or 6 cyl made from 2019. Some argue its the best Toyota engine or the more reliable BMW you could ever purchase. Both engines surprisingly even get great mpg.
