If you read my post, that's exactly what I said. It's FiOS internet and phone. No TV. It IS FiOS though, which is 100% fiber.
It has nothing to do with the regime change. Romaine held a rally to get Verizon to wire Brookhaven telling them they have the go ahead and Verizon said no too expensive.
The good news is Altice has been wiring up their Fiber. If you switch over they will consider you new and you can get a 2 year promotion
Ten years ago now Verizon made it clear they were not going to expand further east on LI. Company would continue to build out where it had existing franchise agreements, but that's it.

Interesting, it also says in the articles that they aren’t considering just expanding internet either. So other than the poster on here claiming to be doing it now, there is no official announcement from Verizon for any type of expansion except that they denied it in the past.

To all the naysayers, drive down to Patchogue, specifically east of 112 between Montauk highway and sunrise. There is fiber coiled on the poles, and being spliced. Believe what you want. Those articles are old. What hasn't changed is there won't be tv service. Vz realizes along with other companies, it's all about Internet and streaming. It's the future. And as stated, it's a slow build.

Where’s the press release then? Why wouldn’t Verizon be shouting this new service and major reversal in policy to the sky slow build out or not?
