My husband just told me. They also said remains of the same victims were found in Babylon at a park and in the woods of West Babylon. It was a 59 year old female and a 53 year old male they say were from Yonkers.
Yeah they were chopped up and distributed in I believe 3 locations.
But apparently the choppers have been caught. That was quick, kudos to the fuzz.
They raided a house in N. Amityville.
The news also stated there is a possibility that the female may have been cheating on her significant other who was also killed and that her lover was the one who did the killing. Amazing they found the killer so quickly.
With all the cameras (door cameras like Ring and otherwise) out there and the fact the body parts looked to be freshly dropped off, it wouldn't shock me if a car was identified and then traced.
Of course I am guessing and just glad about the quick work in grabbing a suspect.

To be clear none of those that have been arrested have been charged with murder yet. Just tampering with evidence and related charges.
Suffolk County Police homicide squad detectives arrested and charged Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, and Amanda Wallace, 40, all of 25 Railroad Ave., in Amityville, and Alexis Nieves, 33, who is without a known residence, with first-degree hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse, police said.
They were scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday, police said.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney spoke out against bail reform measures after the arrests.
"It is our understanding that the Suffolk County Police Department is still investigating these
murders," Tierney said. "Unfortunately, due to 'bail reform' passed by the New York State Legislature in 2019, charges relating to the mutilation and disposal of murdered corpses are no longer bail-eligible, meaning my prosecutors cannot ask for bail. This is yet another absurd result thanks to 'bail reform' and a system where the Legislature in Albany substitutes their judgment for the judgment of our judges and the litigants in court. We will work with the Suffolk County Police Department to resolve this investigation as soon as possible and implore our Legislature to make common sense fixes to this law."
The four are quite a sight. I’m sure one or two (or all four) will spill some sort of story. And more charges will be forthcoming.
