Can you believe that Long Beach does not have any waterfront dining! Well, at least you have a few in Island Park... I have eaten at Paddy McGee's & the Coyote Grill. Both are pretty good. There is one or two in Point Lookout, as well. Freeport may be the way to go though.

The Schooner in Freeport on the Nautical Mile. They have a section that you can sit outside right on the water or enjoy a water view from the inside. It's a little pricey and specializes in Seafood, but it's not very expensive.

We were just there on Friday nite and we were not impressed. It used to be our fav. nautical mile rest. but something changed. The prices were still fairly cheap but the portions were skimpy compared to the old. And no soup or salad with our meal? They used to give you soup or salad & a choice of 2 sides. Now its 1 side. Guess inflation has hit them too?
