I placed the ML# on it with the link, but I didn't realize the MLS links were dead. I haven't been paying attention to the MLS links. Is it a site wide problem?

Yes...always has been.
My take is that they bought it to flip (even though it was out of their league)and figured theyd do the work themselves and ran out of $$$/credit when the market tanked.

My Dh has read articles in contractor trade publications that say contractors & other tradesmen have been heavily affected by foreclosure. Many started making big money overnight & tried upgrading or buying investment properties with no safety net. Then the bottom fell out. My guess is that person is a contractor that was dreaming a little too big.
