Hi,

I am moving to West LA. my office is location in Calabassas. I want to live in an area close to office (pref 15-20 mins drive) and has downtown style resturents and cafe. Also good for shopping where my wife can go out for a walk while i am work and spend my money..

i have an indian background but living in an indian community is not my preference. i know canoga park has an small indian community but i am more looking to live in an area where we can find variety of rest within walking distance.

we have a 2 month old daughter so want to live in a safe neighbourhood.

i know i am asking for a perfect place in LA which doens't come that often but any suggestion. i am thinking warner center or woodland hills?

Thanks,
ToD

west LA is much more than 15-20 minutes to calabasas even when there is no traffic. canoga park/woodland hills is one of the few areas that is actually within 15-20 minutes of calabasas. unfortunately for you, calabasas is a bedroom community quite far from the more central urban areas of LA. the best you could hope for would be to live near ventura blvd in encino or futher east have 30 minute commute to the office every day.
