They mow the lawn but with a device that looks like a tube or small vacuum cleaner... Are they from the city or what? I work from home and it's really loud. I can still hear them even with ear plugs on. Does Studio City have this too or is mainly Weho?

I read they outlawed gas leaf blowers there. But the electric blowers (and vacuums) can be terribly noisy too. Santa Monica I think has outlawed all "motorized" leaf blowers from being used. I love CA laws (no sarcasm intended).

the sound you are hearing are from private gardners who are hired by local property owners. you will find these crews all over LA, there's no getting away from them (except for downtown where there is hardly any grass). get used to it.

Are these crews also in Studio City and Sherman Oaks area or only on the other side of the valley?

So instead of blowing debris for 5 minutes, they need to spend 20 minute sweeping?
