Would buying a vacant lot that is a little under an acre in Topanga, Encino, or maybe even the Hollywood hills really REALLY expensive?
I really love this floor plan: House Plan 420-183
But with less detail to the exterior, also if the lot already has the city hookups.

What exactly is your question?

Your rough cost to build is as follows:

Cost of Land + Cost of ground up construction. The plan shows about $315.00 per sq ft. I think
it can be done for less. More like 225-250 with the right contractors.

So you are looking at a minimum 2.5 million if you can find a lot for 1mill.
