I must move in L.A this summer. I got a job near of CSUN. I’m trying to stay close to and not too far from Eagle Rock. I would like younger crowd areas. A bit of a suburban feel is fine by me. I’m just looking for more of a generally 20’s / 30’s age group area. Any suggestions if I want to live close to Northridge, but not in it?
Thanks!

eagle rock is a decent treck from northridge fyi. having said that, northridge doens't have great freeway access, so anywhere near a freeway will make getting to eagle rock easier. i would probably look into the woodland hills area, it's really the only somewhat interesting part of the west valley for someone your age. anything else will require a decent commute where rush hour traffic will definitely be an issue (i.e. sherman oaks).

I went to college at CSUN. I commuted from west LA and lived in Van Nuys at one time. I'd say live in Sherman Oaks off ventura if you want that young vibe, it's happening right there.
