If I was to see a movie at a theatre in 90021 or 90028 areas

which theatres are the cheapest?

ArcLight I know charges like 10-15 bucks

but are there movie theatres in 90021 or 90028 for less than 10 bucks ?

Second run houses are virtually extinct in Los Angeles, and there are few revival houses left.

The cheapest near Hollywood is the New Beverly although that's in 90036 not 90028.

As for 90021, Little Tokyo has not had any movie theatres since the '80s.

You'd find more of those restaurants and stores in 90028 (central Hollywood) than 90021 (Little Tokyo and the Arts District)
Why just those two zip codes, which don't border each other?

I wouldn't spend too much time right around the Greyhound station.

Hollywood is full of restaurants, of all types.

As for movie theatres charging less than $10, the New Beverly charges $8. New Beverly Cinema
It is in 90036 which is southwest of 90028.

The Vista Theater is pretty inexpensive.

Other than that, I bet the closest place is Universal, which has a Regal or whatever.

Pasadena has a second-run theater on Colorado just outside of the downtown area. Might be worth the drive.

Universal's closer to 90028 than Beverly and La Brea?
The Vista's cheaper than the ArcLight or Chinese but I'm pretty sure it's over $10. So is the Los Feliz a few blocks away from the Vista
