So just to follow up even though i got no further replies lol i wound up with a la live courtyard downtown for the weekend and for hollywood days an airbnb place on the 1800 block of Whitley Avenue

now a question about walk of fame, is there a listing somewhere that lists all walk of fame members in order by address so i can go in order and find the ones i want in order instead of all over the place and looking down the whole time

Los Angeles is not expensive. Gas is 3.75 in some places. The food can be $4 for a meal of $1000. Cars have less emissions and standards so they're cheaper here. The rent is not expensive for a city. You can get a studio in Santa Monica Beach for $1200. You would never be able to get a studio in lower manhattan, nyc or georgetown, dc for less than $2200. Traffic is not bad in LA. Its more pver that they have a lot of cars on the road, but it moves unlike northeastern cities. LA is perfect.
