Everyone knows how the entertanment thing is. You show people who are quite materialistic and arrogant.

1) Is this only in certain areas? Are there areas where there are regular people?

2) What percent of people do you think are in the entertaniment life? Include those who are "trying to make it."

3) Do girls generally only go for rich guys? Once again, are there some areas where girls are NOT materialistic or is eveyrone trying to meet the right person just to climb the ladder.

4) I heard La girls are flaky and they will drop you just to find a richer guy.

Once agan, nothing wrong with that lifestyle. Just not for me.
Is this sort of thing only in certain parts of la? If so where?
And where are there people who are not in the entertanment life and not trying to meet people in order to climb the ladder.

I work directly in Hollywood and not in the entertainment industry. I also don't know any actors or producers or anything.

The average LA person is pretty much the average person. I'm sure if you are in the celebrity circles then you meet and know these stereotypes, but they aren't the reality for real folks who live here.

I work directly in the entertainment industry at a major studio. So I have interactions with everyone from directors/producers/show creators/actors down the line to electricians, facility people, executives. secretaries, IT, food service workers etc etc. The range of "normal" to "crazy" for me in LA is the same as in other major cities I've lived in (Boston, DC and SF)

So basically, you're a poor guy who wants a hot girl who wants a poor guy, and you want to know where in LA to find her?

No. I just don't want to be in a place where the majority of girls have that mindset.

If I was rich, I could easily go to Eastern Europe and find a hot wife.

Then L.A. is just about the last place you want to be. Stay away from coastal California. You'd be better off in inland Northern California or West/South Texas
