And that's why I'm never unarmed when I'm in public.

If course no Security anywhere to be seen. I was on the Red Line Saturday night. Large crowds jumping the fare gates. People high on drugs screaming at the top of their lungs. Saw two people urinating in the station. Never saw a cop or Security the whole night.

Yeah, Friday and Saturday nights are wilder because you get non-regular riders who just want to go out and have fun, and they don't know any better.

Jumping the fare gate is not worth the gamble unless you have nothing to lose (like being homeless)... You don't want to mess with the sheriff deputies checking fares.

The guy gets even more mad when he gets called weirdo because he knows he is mentally unstable, therefore making him a weirdo.

Do you think this was staged or something?
It looks like they were using it to promote some website

Oh BTW
"Go Metro!" LOL

THIS is why people are freaked out to ride public transit.

Also police mentioned seeing no police at stations..I've noticed the same thing. Every station should have at least one officer on duty all the time.
I haven't even ridden the metro that much , but there is definitely weird stuff going on.
I rode the metro in Paris and saw less craziness. Everyone is really well dressed there too, lol.

Just an FYI for those browsing > I commute on the Red Line (Hollywood to DTLA) and this type of behavior would be well out of the ordinary during the week. Although, Fridays & Saturdays are wildcards.
