On a birth certificate for someone born in a hospital in the valley does it indicate anywhere on the certificate that the person was born in the City of Los Angeles? Or does it just say under the city section Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills etc...with not mention of the City of Los Angeles? I know in NYC they mention New York City than the borough in which they were born.

Yes, it lists the hospital address (thus the specific city) and the county (los angeles), and the state (CA).

Why, are you attempting to print your own?

I believe it would be listed based on how the post office recognizes the zip code. For example, although Van Nuys is within the Los Angeles city limit, USPS lists "Van Nuys" as the default city name for those zip codes rather than "Los Angeles". As a result, my assumption would be that a person that was born in a hospital in Van Nuys would have "Van Nuys, California" listed on their birth certificate based on the hospital's address.

Yeah, probably easier to go to a professional forger. They will have that stuff down already. Too easy to miss a detail going DIY.
