I still want to know what credit with a magazine company is? You get a $10/year subscription that you pay back over time?

That thread is about my parents giving me a hard time about traveling alone. I don't see how I could be confusing anyone. I said that I want to eventually move to LA I didn't say right now. Nobody in their right mind would just up and move to another state without doing research etc. Of course I would need credit to rent an apartment, rental etc. I stated that a company offered me a credit account that way I can build my credit. So when I am ready to move and need a place to stay I'll have credit.

So a magazine company gave you a credit card? Sounds legit.

Yelling things without explaining them isn't going to help your cause.

Correct. And you're posting things in this thread that are better suited for the other one and vice versa. That's how confusion occurs.

And we're trying to figure out how "credit" with a "magazine company" will help you in any way.

I'm sorry it's just that this is getting kind of stressful I thought I had this credit thing figured out. I don't see how I will ever get any credit with no credit history.

Start with a secured card. Then, 6 months later, apply for a regular card.

Having this credit thing figured out doesn't happen in a couple of days. In fact, most people spend a lifetime struggling to figure it out. You have to start somewhere. Go to your other thread - I wrote a fairly detailed description of what you should probably do in order to get going.
