Hi,
I have received and excellent graduate offer from UCLA. I have some more offers from other Universities -Austin, NY, Georgia, Indiana-, but UCLA is better in my area of knowledge.
But here comes the BIG BUT. Is LA so difficult? Housing, 405... I need some advice about a good neighbourhood, safe for a woman, where I can rent a 1bedroom place for around 2000. Is there any piece of advice you can give to a Spanish who is moving there?

UCLA is in Westwood, which is very safe and an excellent location for a graduate student. The area has some good public transit options but you're better off having your own car. Still, if you live close to campus there are plenty of amenities within walking distance. A 1br can be had for even cheaper than $2000 in the area, perhaps $1600 or $1800. Housing isn't difficult, just check Craigslist.

You must have an automobile.

In that 2000 you should budget for food and other household expenses.

If you can afford to spend 4000 on everything including rent you should be fine.
