How bout we hard working tax payers start a recall petition to recall ALL city council members, the county board of supervisors, and the mayor for passing regulations that dip into the general fund to provide legal representation to illegal aliens?
That is illegal by any stretch of the imagination.
Actually the hole lot of them could face jail time for this stupid funding action.

Bob.

I'm not sure if it is legal or not but you certainly have the right to work to recall any/all of your elected officials.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the new president and legislature face the issue of sanctuary cities. This issue seems related, to me.

Honestly, I just can't get my head around the concept of sanctuary cities. It seems to be related to the dissatisfaction in government that has been expressed in polls for years now, that America is headed in the wrong direction.

Maybe the new administration will be able to change that. Only time will tell.

It's a good idea, but I just don't see people in L.A doing it. Most people in L.A vote Democrat and they typically just go with the party agenda.
I agree that politically this city is going in the wrong direction. It's not just the Mayor , but the city council and the others.

It will be interesting to see what happens with a new administration. Immigration is a federal issue and L.A or CA politicians can't make illegals legal U.S citizens.

City services are lacking, violent crimes is on the rise and we have an out of control homeless situation yet this is what the city politicians chose to focus on. Every week now the city seems to announce some way they are going to make things better for illegal immigrants to protect them against Trump.
The mean old 'racist' that wants to enforce our laws..

Trump only wants to deport CRIMINAL aliens, they can't seem to comprehend that and willfully ignore that and continue to think he wants to deport all their voters. Or really it fits their agenda to say he wants to deport all illegal aliens and there fore cause people to fear and hate Trump and Republicans which is their goal.

A) In the case of violent felons, that's a terrible idea. They should remain locked up.

B) Define "criminal".

When it's all said and done, June 14th 1946 will go down as one of the worst days in US history.

Would be nice to recall everyone in LA politics. The problem is that the next people in line are all leftist Liberals. BTW is that any lawyer trying to block this effort to steal taxpayer money for defense of illegals?

With regard to Hillary Clinton not being crooked, she blamed the Benghazi attack on a movie. Lie. She bleached 30,000 emails AFTER a congressional subpoena. Crooked. She got a pass only because she was too big to indict. She attacked Bill Clinton's accusers, yet she presents herself as a champion for women. She cheated on the debate by getting questions in advance. She slandered Trump all during her campaign. Oh and she's on the wrong side of every issue that I care about.
