Following an exchange, the cart vendor, who is of Mexican extraction and identifies as Mexican, accused his alleged attacker of being a racist despite the fact that the other man is Latino (allegedly Argentinian).

Default Food cart thrown to ground in angry Hollywood confrontation

This is kind of crazy . The guy shouldn't of done what he did but I can see his frustration with these carts that block the sidewalk .

I've seen this type of thing in many parts of the city and it seems worse since the city "legalized street vending" to "protect immigrants from Trump "

Both parties appear to be Hispanic though so I guess this won't get categorized as a hate crime .

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A heated confrontation between a street vendor and a man walking his dog ended with a food cart overturned, spilling its contents onto a Hollywood street.

Police are looking into the confrontation, which was recorded by the vendor, Benjamin Ramirez.

my wife was following the story on Facebook. Other people on Facebook groups already identified the guy and posted his address and other personal information. If you decide to do anything crazy these days just keep in mind that someone is always recording you and if people can identify you they will and mob justice can be worse then legal justice. Of course it also opens things up to people being misidentified and becoming the victim of revenge for things they didn't do.

I can't muster any outrage over this. Maybe later.

Guy probably owns a brick and mortar store and hates these vendors with no overhead and/or license.

Negative. Dude is in a "band". He's screwed and will probably have to move back to Portland after this. People in LA arent going to put up with idiots like him. Hope he gets arrested and have to pay for dude's cart. What an idiot.

And since he's a musician he could play on any street corner and not have any "overhead or license" if that really were his beef...

...but it wasn't–he was just an asshat, and now that he's been doxxed asshat things are going to happen to him. Hope it was worth it.
